Central Texas Council of Government helps county
The Central Texas Council of Government (CTCOG) is a misnomer as the agency is really not a governmental agency. The CTCOG is more like a governmental assistance group, formed by law almost 70 years ago to help local government provide so many of the needed community services. The CTCOG consists of seven counties in Central Texas and Milam County is one of the charter members. The officers of the CTCOG are elected from within the group and the primary offices are located in Belton.

Going to cooking university vicariously
My nephew, Kevin, recently started cooking school at Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Austin and I have to say I’m a little jealous. We have a family text thread and he’s been taking photos of what he’s learning to do and sending them to us.
