My father has been acting very strangely lately. He is not himself. Sometimes he doesn’t cuddle me like a baby and rub my head and under my chin when I jump on his desk every morning. I don’t understand why. Normally he doesn’t mind when I leave my black fur on his shirt.

10-20-40-100 100 YEARS AGO… Burk, 9-year-old son of Luther McDonald of the Sharp community, was instantly killed when he fell from a wagon driven by his father, receiving a crushed skull. Mr. McDonald was driving an empty, wide-tired heavy wagon, with the lad riding in the rear.
