10-20-40-100 YEARS AGO 100 YEARS AGO… Following heavy rains and fed no doubt by heavier rains on the headwaters, Little River overflowed its bottoms for several days. Automobile traffic between Cameron and Rockdale was suspended during that time.

100 YEARS AGO… The city council met in regular session and transacted routine business. Tom Marrs and Branch Lewis, two newly-elected aldermen, qualified and organization of the body for the ensuing year was effected. Marrs was elected Mayor Pro Tem.
