Excuses for not allowing God to use us

The story of Jesus’ compassion shown in the Gospel of John about feeding the five thousand with a little boys lunch, paints a vivid picture of God taking the little we have to offer so people can see him through us. Jesus had taken the disciples to a place where he could minister and teach to them.

Don’t worry, just pray

“The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry.” (Psalm 34:15) My hometown just lost a great saint. He died from the virus. From my perspective I don’t understand. It seems like we need every Jesus person working harder than ever during these end times.

Retirement celebration for Dr. D.L. Brooks Sr. New Jerusalem Inter-Denominational Church will hold a celebration for retiring pastor Dr. D. L. Brooks Sr. on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 9-10, at the church. Dr. Brooks has served the church for 41 years.
