Sunday our family members helped grandson Jaxon Hayles celebrate his birthday with lunch in Bryan. He is a special young man, as is all of our grandsons and our granddaughters. They are all available when we need them, when of course goes back to the parents and how they were taught.

SUNFLOWER FUN RUN/WALK— The Melodie Hope Jones Memorial Scholarship “Sunflower Fun Run/Walk” will be held Sept. 25 at Davidson Creek Park in Caldwell. There is a kids’ one-mile color run at 9 a.m. and the 5K starts at 9:30 a.m. Cost is $30 for the 5K and $25 for the kids run.
