Aspiring football players from across the area will have an opportunity to sharpen their skills this summer at the Fit 22 Football Camp in Rockdale. The camp is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 11, at Tiger Stadium in Rockdale.

The New Jerusalem Churches vs. Churches Basketball Tournament was held Saturday at Full Gospel Church in Rockdale. Organized by New Jerusalem Christian Center, the event drew a strong turnout from area churches and community supporters.

Two Rockdale Youth Baseball Association (RYBA) All-Star teams have earned berths in the Pony League South Zone Regional Tournament and will travel to Pflugerville June 27-30 to continue postseason play.
