ROCKDALE LADY TIGERS VOLLEYBALL

The senior members of the Rockdale Lady Tiger volleyball team were honored Friday at their last game—(L-R) Kinley Galvan, Elizabeth Perry, Olivia Rubio, Macy McDaniel, Kayla Ehler, Molly Moody, Ella Hairston. Their season came to a close with a loss in front of the home crowd.

THORNDALE LADY DOGS VOLLEYBALL

PLAYOFF BOUND—The Thorndale Lady Dogs finished their undefeated season last week by winning against Holland at home. They won 25-10, 25-17, 19-25, 25-15. Thorndale was set to play a bi-district playoff game on Tuesday against Snook at Giddings High School.

MILANO VOLLEYBALL

The Milano Lady Eagles played in a bi-district game against the Mumford Lady Mustangs on Monday.

LADY TIGERS VOLLEYBALL

The Rockdale Lady Tigers split their games last week. They lost on the road against Rogers, 25-22, 17-25, 25-12, 11-25, 5-15. The Lady Tigers then hosted rival Cameron and beat the Lady Yoe in straight sets 25-14, 25-19, 25-20. Rockdale wraps up their season at home Tuesday against Franklin.

Milano Senior Night

Milano Eagle cheerleader Mallory Miller was honored on Friday during Senior Night. Mallory has been an Eagle varsity cheerleader for four years.

THORNDALE LADY BULLDOGS VOLLEYBALL

Congratulations to the Thorndale Lady Dogs! They have both a perfect season going and have claimed the district championship. Early last week Thorndale defeated Granger in straight sets—25- 19, 25-11, 25-13. They also beat McDade on Saturday, 25-21, 25-9, 25-13.

Tigers fall, bell returns to Cameron

The Rockdale Tigers lost in front of the home crowd against Cameron last Friday by a final score of 35-10. It always hurts to lose but to lose to Cameron and to lose the bell seems to hurt just a little bit more. There is no doubt the Blue & Gold was up for this game, it just did not go their way.

Eagles blanked by Burton

MILANO—The comeback kids got their feelings hurt on Friday night. Milano hosted Burton and got shut out 41-0. The Eagles are trying to stay in position for a run at the playoffs and had won their last two games before this bully beat down. Milano is 3-5 overall and 2-3 in district.
