Bulldogs claim second victory

RIESEL—The Bulldogs are on a roll and I’m sure it does not surprise anyone. Thorndale is 2-1 after beating the 1-2 Riesel Indians on the road. The final score of this contest was Thorndale 27, Riesel 6. Thorndale went to the air on three out of four of their touchdowns.

The Rockdale Tiger JV squad traveled to Lexington last week and came home with a loss, 44-20. Standout players for this game were—OL McKasson Casas, QB Slayde Harris, WR Alex Cooper, LBs Garrett Hutton, Kevin Rodriguez and Kendrick Henderson.

Friday was rough for the hometown Tigers. Lexington, who went three deep in the playoffs last year and are picked by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine to win their district, came to town and they turned their 2-0 record into 3-0 record at Rockdale’s expense. The final score was 66-7.
