Milam County Aggie Moms will start selling fundraising tickets on March 1. The drawing is for a $350 gift card to Messina Hof, a handmade charcuterie board with a $100 gift card to HEB, an Aggie Bogg Bag, Messina Hof wine, and more.

Sheriff’s Office announces its Blaine Wall Initiative

The Milam County Sheriff’s Office announces the launch of the Blaine Wall Initiative, a targeted traffic enforcement effort on FM 485. This initiative is named in memory of Blaine, who tragically lost his life on FM 485 due to the actions of an erratic and dangerous driver.
RVFD DONATIONS— Fire Chief James McQuinn accepts a $2,000 donation from Business Systems and Communications Associate Kayla Schnell. The volunteer fire department also recently received $15,000 from Cappolino | Dodd | Krebs LLP, $1,000 from Dale Throckmorton, and $1,500 from Pete and Nancy Zenner.

Rockdale Community Market makes its return to Wolf Park on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a reopening ribbon cutting at 10 a.m. The day will also feature a Car Show from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with judging starting at 10-a.m.
