Rockdale Rotary Club meets the first, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 1 p.m.
Celebrating 174 years
A marker ceremony was held Sunday at Gause Baptist Church with the Milam County Historical Commission dedicating the historical marker awarded by the Texas Historical Commission. Rev. Ryan Karl is the pastor of the congregation that was established in 1877. On hand for the dedication are association members Lynn Young, Geri Burnett, Randy Billingsley, Kyle Barret, and Chairperson Holly Jentsch.
POSGCD to hold EarthKind gardening classes March 22
Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District will hold an Earth-Kind workshop aimed at promoting sustainable gardening practices to local residents on Friday, March 22 at the POSGCD office in Milano from 1 to 3 p.m.
