PRESENTATION—Texas House Rep. Stan Gerdes gave Trail Life Troop TX-1516 a Texas flag that was flown over the Texas Capital in honor of the troop. Included was a certificate that read in part, this flag “was flown at the Capital of the Sovereign State of Texas in recognition of your organization providing youth mentorship and character development.” Our local Rockdale Trail Life Troop is proud to have received this flag. We are very thankful to Rep. Gerdes for honoring us in this way,” said Pastor Steve Ammo

ADT LADY OF THE YEAR—Rebecca Luckey (middle), a lifelong Rockdale resident and Rockdale High School graduate, has dedicated more than 34 years to serving Milam County through her work with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Texas A&M University, where she earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. A longtime leader in 4-H, local schools, church and civic organizations, she has mentored youth, supported families, honored veterans and served on the Rockdale Municipal Development District
