In Matthew 6:25 Jesus said, “Don’t be anxious about your life.” For some reason Bobby McFerrin’s, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy” keeps bouncing around in my head. Maybe because God wants His church to be full of hope and joy and to be found trusting Him in every circumstance.

I’m getting excited about spring vegetables now that the farmer’s market is starting up again the first weekend in April. Last year Mr. Joe (Hairston) brought hothouse tomatoes from Florida until his own were ready from his farm in Milano.

Ag booster club holding online fundraiser

Downtown beautification

The work on the buildings in the 200 block of East Cameron Avenue is completed. The buildings were painted two colors to emphasize the two buildings, and had wood and stucco work done.
