Two more Milam County residents have died from COVID-19 in Milam County. This brings the death toll to 35, since the pandemic started early last year. In addition, the active cases rose again Wednesday, to 175.
Citing a rising number of COVID-19 cases, Rockdale Independent School District is making changes to the calendar.

“Clearly, we have a lot of the COVID-19 virus in Milam County,” County Judge Steve Young said in his daily email.
Milam County is well on its way to having enough surveys for ConnectedNation-Texas to begin its tabulation and analysis to access the county’s needs for improved internet service, according to the group.
