Community Thanksgiving dinner a success

GAUSE NEWS The annual community Thanksgiving dinner was well attended Sunday at Gause Baptist Church Family Life Center. Lots of good food and a great time of fellowship. This is a time each year that the community takes to get together.

Thanksgiving luncheon set for Saturday

QUICK LOOK Rockdale’s annual free Thanksgiving luncheon is set for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Last year more than 1,000 plates were distributed. Meals are available to eat in or to go and there’s free delivery to the elderly, ill or shut ins.

Paper due out early before Thanksgiving

Next week’s Reporter will be published on Tuesday, instead of the normal Wednesday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday in order for advertisers to get their Thanksgiving specials to readers before the big turkey day. Deadline for advertising and news copy will be 12-noon Friday.
