Dear Motor Medics, I’ve got a power steering leak on my Mazda Protege that’s been getting worse over the past year. When it started, it was just a small drip but as it has become worse it is now to the point where I must add fluid to it every time I drive the car.

Automotive advice from The Under the Hood® Show  Dear Motor Medics,  My vehicle is starting to rust under the hood on  strut towers and under the back on the rear axle mounts and my shop tells me that in their opinion it is no longer safe to drive.

Dear Motor Medics, I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a 4.0 six-cyl inder engine that failed. This is the first time I have ever had to replace an engine in a vehicle and with fairly low miles and a faithful maintenance history, I am shocked that it failed.

Dear Motor Medics,  My new job has taken me to an unfamiliar city hundreds of miles away from home, where I don’t know anyone.  I have a good running car, but I owe that to the great care that my repair shop has given me over the years. It’s a 2019 Taurus with 98,000 miles.
