Dear Savvy Senior, Does Medicare offer any fi nancial assistance programs to help seniors with their medication costs? I recently enrolled in a Medicare drug plan, but I take some expensive medications that have high out- of- pocket costs and need some help.
Dear editor, Thank you so much for sharing the Dallas Morning News editorial article. Unfortunately, editorials like this are the newspaper’s opinion on an issue, but someone penned the same. I would assume the owner or an executive. Whoever’s fingerprints are on that page is a very wise individual and our country desperately needs another 168.42 million (2022) registered voters with a like mindset.
Dear editor, Let’s continue the conversation! First, may I say thank you to each one who came out on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 29, for our Eastside Conversation at The Office Steakhouse. Thank you to our citizens, fellow elected officials who were able to be in attendance, other county elected officials, business owners, church leaders and our city employees; all of whose presence served as a testimony to the desire in our community to create a better city for everyone.
Dear Savvy Senior, Do you have any suggestions on divvying up my personal possessions to my kids after I’m gone without causing hard feelings or confl ict? I have a lot of jewelry, art, family heirlooms and antique furniture, and four grown kids that don’t always see eye- to- eye on things.
