Dear editor, I want to share my story and how one company helped turn things around for my hometown. Not too long ago, Rockdale was struggling. It was a town that had seen better days. Jobs were disappearing, and the community felt the pinch. Prospects weren’t looking good for me.

Dear Motor Medics, I’m looking at several cars in the two-year-old range with around 10k miles. After deciding on all the features that I like about each one, I think I have come down to two of them and they are both the same model but one has a four-cylinder engine and the other a six.

Dear Savvy Senior, Can you recommend some good golf gadgets that can help older golfers? I like to walk the course when I play but I have some back problems that make stooping over to tee- up or retrieve the ball diffi cult, and some hand arthritis that make gripping the club painful.

Dear editor, The American Legion Carlyle Post 358 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6525, with much help from Rockdale High School students, erected an American Flag Memorial on US 79 between Alpha Chevrolet and Rockdale Memorial Co. This is the first year at this location.
