Earth Day is this Friday. Plastic consumption in the US, and all over the world, is a big problem. Cutting down the amount of plastic we use is a good way to make our earth healthier for everyone, and earthday.org has lots of good ways to reduce our consumption.

100 YEARS AGO… A contract for another five-year lease was entered into between Uncle Sam and the and the J.W. Perry Estate, which ensured the Rockdale Post Office retention of its location in the Perry building on upper Cameron Avenue.

The date of Easter, when the resurrection of Jesus is said to have taken place, changes from year to year. The reason for this variation is that Easter always falls on the first Sunday after the first full moon following the spring equinox.
