Thorndale heroes honored by state

Two young Thorndale residents have been awarded the EMS Citizens of the Year award for their efforts in saving the lives of two persons in a highway crash. Chris Posey and Joseph Posey were presented the award by the Texas Dept.of Services at the 2019 Texas EMS Conference in Forth Worth.

BUSINESS OF THE MONTH

Redd’s Shredding has been named the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce’s Business of the Month for December. Chamber and city officials made the presentation recently to owner Jonathan Harris, his wife, Amanda, and children Madalynn and Brantley.
