RHS hoops to hold alumni game

Tiger Gymnasium is scheduled to hold an alumni game for the Rockdale High School basketball program on Friday, Nov. 19. The game will feature four 10-minute quarters and the “Noth’n but Net” three-point contest during halftime.

Former Tiger makes Class 6A playoff run

While Thorndale and Rockdale were playing in their first round playoff games, area native Kortlin White, now a running backs coach for Class 6A Lewisville, was at his new school’s home stadium taking on McKinney’s Boyd High School in a bi-district matchup.

ROUND ROCK—Rockdale and Milano High School sophomores Jesus Bocanegra and Kadance Koenig both made positive strides this weekend at the UIL cross-country state championships where Bocanegra finished 33rd out of 151 runners with a time of 17:09.

Eagles miss playoffs in finale

Milano’s post-season hopes came to an end this past Friday with a 34-16 loss to Snook on the road. The Blue Jays took an early 16-0 lead before MHS junior Ethan Gordon pushed through the line to score a one-yard touchdown.
