Early scoring helped Rockdale Junior High’s eighth grade “A” team secure a victory when they took down Caldwell Thursday evening at Tiger Stadium. In the first, Demander Nunn got things going with a 50-yard TD run. Wilmer Sorto Ventura’s two-point kick gave RJH an 8-0 lead.

Going into the third set of Friday’s match in Cameron trailing 2-0, it seemed as if it was all but over for the Lady Tigers. But the Blue-and-Gold, a team that lost co-captain Haven Jimenez to a season-ending injury last week, became a team revived.
