Lady Eagle softball lost their season finale 3-1, but not without putting up a fight against playoff-bound Bremond last Tuesday. Milano led early after Toni Meyer hit a single to lead off the second inning and scored on a passed ball.

RJH golf teams finish in third Rockdale Junior High golfers hosted their own tournament at the Rockdale Country Club Monday. The Tiger golf team made up of Mason Lillard, Brody Willard, Zeb Skrhak, Landon Deason and Stephen Goodrich placed third.

MHS freshman Toni Meyer struck out six in the Lady Eagles’ 10-0 win over Bartlett on Monday at Becky Dent Field. Milano only had two hits from Meyer and her classmate Zoe Clore but were able to get on base and make things happen.

On Thursday, April 29, RISD is giving physicals from 1 to 5 p.m. at the RHS Gymnasium for students interested in participating in sports during the 2021-2022 school year.
