Two Rockdale Girls Softball League teams took the field on Monday, after a week long hiatus due to a player contracting COVID-19. The Aztec Warriors secured their first victory in the 12 and under division in dominant fashion as they beat G.R.I.T. 17-0.

The eighth annual Milam County Aggie Moms Golf Tournament has been rescheduled for Aug 1. Shot gun start times will be at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Rockdale Country Club. The event is open to golfers of all ages. Entry fee is $75 dollars per player, which includes a mulligan, lunch and carts.
