RJH prevails against Bulldogs, 14-0

RJH Tigers earned their first win of the season after defeating the McGregor Junior High Bulldogs 14-0. The Tigers are now 1-1 on the season. Defense prevailed in the first half as neither team scored any points. The Tiger defense played so well that they didn’t give up a single yard in the half.

The Rockdale Tigers faced their toughest test to date last Friday as the 4A No.6 ranked Bellville Brahmas came to town. The RHS netters earned their first win in district play against the Florence Lady Buffaloes on Friday. “I was very proud of the girls’ performance,” RHS Head Coach Kelsey Hudson said. “We had a lot of younger athletes step up and I saw great leadership from the older girls.
