Former Milam County footballers named to Eagle’s All-Decade Team

Two former Milam County football players were named to the 2010s All-Decade Team by the Bryan-College Station Eagle. Jaquayln Crawford was named Second Team All-Decade and Kyle King was named First-Team All-Decade. Crawford was a threeyear letter winner for Rockdale.

Rockdale residents win USTA tournament

Rockdale mother and son Cynthia and Nick Gonzalez were crowned Mixed Doubles Champions at a United States Tennis Association Tournament in Waco. The tournament took place Friday and lasted through Sunday with 16 teams participating.

Fall sports delayed in Milano due to COVID-19

Milano High School’s athletic director suspended two of their fall sports for two weeks after a student and Milano ISD employee tested positive for COVID-19. “Those directly involved have been notified and are taking necessary precautions,” AD Wendy King said last week in a press release.
