The Rockdale Boys Soccer team pulled out a close victory against the Hearne Eagles by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Tigers earned a commanding 2-0 lead at the end of half. Hearne scored two goals within the first two minutes of the second half.

Spring break week didn’t slow down the Milano High School sports schedule. The Eagles baseball team lost their 27-2A District opener 15-3 to Holland at home on Tuesday. Danny Cloud took the loss for the Eagles. He pitched 3.

SOCCER—Results from soccer matches were: March 2, Cameron 2, Lady Tigers 0; Feb. 29, Taylor 7, Lady Tigers 0; Feb. 28, Taylor 8, Tigers 0. Tigers record falls to 3-12-2 and the Lady Tigers are now 0-9-2 for the season. RHS teams take on Gateway Friday.

Thorndale, Milano softball results

The Lady Bulldogs opened District 25-2A play by beating Holland 11-1 on the road last Tuesday. Thorndale Softball team was on fire at the La Grange Softball Tournament last weekend winning four games in dominant fashion at the La Grange Tournament.

THS baseball team gears up for district

Thorndale amassed a 1-2 record at the Brentwood Christian Tournament in Austin last weekend. Last Saturday the Bulldogs dispatched Austin Royals Home School 7-1. Corbin Preusse, who was the winning pitcher and pitched six innings, allowed four hits and one run. He struck out six six and walked zero.
