Good luck food for New Year’s

Iwrote this method of cooking black-eyed peas in 2021, the hated year when we all needed good luck! It is hereby decreed by the authority vested in me that you have to eat blackeyed peas on New Year’s Day, and I don’t want to hear any bellyaching about it.

ORGANIZATIONS

Rockdale Rotary Club meets the first, third and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Rockdale Volunteer Fire Department from noon to 1 p.m. Lunch is provided. Rockdale Noon Lions Club also meets at RVFD on the first and third Wednesday of each month with lunch provided.

Sides for Christmas ribeyes

Kyle’s Kitchen As far as I know we are still having ribeyes grilled by Dad for our Christmas meal and I’m looking for some sides to go with them. I think homemade macaroni and cheese instead of the usual Kraft is in order. This sounds like a good one.
