Murray St. Church of Christ hosted its annual Welcome Back Teachers Breakfast Friday in the church annex, serving about 125 school personnel. “I think this might have been our largest crowd since we started the breakfasts for the teachers,” said Glenn Redmond, minister.

Appelts hold 57th family reunion

Due to heavy rains and the fear of vehicles getting stuck in the Appelt’s Hill Hall parking lot, the 57th annual Appelt Family Reunion was moved to the American Legion Hall in Hallettsville on Sunday, June 6.
