Rockdale VFD Responded to: • Cameron and Childress for a two-vehicle accident on Tuesday. • West Cameron Avenue for a two-vehicle accident in front of Dairy Queen on Tuesday. • 202 Sanford Street along with PHI for a medical call on Wednesday. • 129 Champions Drive for a medical call on Thursday.

Rockdale Chr istian Church is starting the mission of distributing bibles to people in Rockdale who do not have a bible or access to one. The church believes that knowledge of God’s word is necessary for the salvation of the world and our souls.

A new organization, Family and Friends of St. Joseph Cemetery, held their initial fundraiser on Sunday at the East Bell Taphouse which included a pie and cake sale, a game of chance and a silent auction. Also included were generous donations for a total haul of over $6,000.

CALDWELL—The annual Milam and Burleson Counties Groundwater Summit will be held Aug. 17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Caldwell Civic Center. The summit is free and open to the public with lunch provided.
