Easy weeknight recipes

Nachos are a meal Mom makes at home fairly often. Dad likes very hot food so he can put as many jalapenos on his portion as he likes. Before trying these at a restaurant once I would have thought that crab nachos would be a waste of good crab meat, but I was wrong. They were delicious.

Granger SLOW. Water lightly stained; 88 degrees; 2.13 feet below pool. Black bass are good on crankbaits and spinnerbaits fished in hydrilla or timber up river. Crappie are good on 1/32 ounce jigs tipped with Berkley Crappie Nibbles. White bass are fair on Little George’s fished along road beds.

School board hears enrollment reports from principals

Assistant Superintendent of State and Federal Programs Tiffany Whitsel presented a review of the ESSER III Safe Return to School Plan Update at Monday night’s school board meeting. Coaches Sean Lexima and Danielle Froggatt presented the athletic review to the board.

MONEY FOR TEACHERS

Georgia Marshall (center) presents over $400 to Rockdale Elementary School Principal Shannon Pourmanafzadeh (L) and Assistant Elementary Principal Ashley Willard (R). The money came from the Chamber of Commerce’s Farmers Market on Main who held the fundraiser.
