OPENING SOON

OPENING SOON—The East Bell Taphouse, located in the former Buck Henry’s Garage building, is set to open soon according to a new sign on the side of the building. The taphouse plans to have craft beer from local breweries, wine, food and live music. They will be posting job positions soon.

Back to school classes start August 17th

Rockdale, Thorndale and Milano will all start on the same day this year. The first day of classes will b e Wednesday, A ug. 17, for all students.

Former long-time Reporter editor Mike Brown let everyone know last week that he has been diagnosed with leukemia. He is in the hospital in Temple doing some testing so the doctors will have a plan forward—with Sue by his side, of course.

‘Cool’ gifts for Rockdale Senior Center

Milano CEFCO

Milano is getting a brand-new CEFCO right beside the old one. It will be a truck stop much like the Cameron CEFCO. The old Milano CEFCO had lots of issues including plumbing problems so the company decided to go big next door.
