Alcoa retirees to meet June 9 in Thorndale Rockdale Alcoa Retirees will hold a meeting on Thursday, June 9 at 5 p.m. at the Thorndale Veteran’s Memorial Hall. The business meeting begins at 5:45 and then the election for officers. Meals will be $15.

100 YEARS AGO… Miss Flora Sharp graciously entertained the Matinee Musical Club with a beautiful springtime party. A splendid musical program was well rendered. In the musical game played, Miss Louise Hale was awarded two handmade handkerchiefs.

Library hosts Dr. Pruett on June 3rd
