42 tourney honoring Graham Dickerson

The third annual Graham Dickerson Memorial 42 Tourney will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at Pleasant Retreat United Methodist Church. The church is located at 852 County Road 458.

‘Natural causes’ suspected in death

POLICE REPORT Police believe natural causes led to the death of a man at Budget Inn during the past week. Lt. Stephen Goodrich told The Reporter police responded to a call at the motel in connection with the death.

Fire claims rural home

FIRE CALLS A rural home in the Thorndale area burned to the ground early Monday morning. The Thorndale and Rockdale Volunteer Fire Departments were called to the site, 2718 County Road 455 at 3:10 a.m.
