Jones

Services for Thomas “Tom” Eugene Jones, 78, of Round Rock were held Saturday, Sept. 12, 2026, at Rio Grande Tex Mex Restaurant in Round Rock. Mr. Jones died Thursday, July 30, in Austin. He was born Aug. 28, 1947, in Temple. He served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Petty

Dr. Petty Dr. William H. Petty was born Feb. 26, 1960, in New Boston to Dr. Laura Petty Burrell and Col. James E. Petty Sr. He was the third of four children. The family moved to Rockdale, where Wi lliam excelled in academics and graduated from Rockdale High School Class of 1978.

Luckey

Paul Luckey, 62, of Rockdale, went to be with his Heavenly Father Monday, Sept. 14, 2026. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Phillips & Lucke y Funeral Home in Rockdale with Milam County Judge Bill Whitmire officiating. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Mr. Luckey Cemetery.

Booker

James Robert “Jim Bob” Booker, 63, of Rockdale died Aug. 30, 2026, in Austin. He was born June 13, 1963, in Marshall to Roger Mills Booker and Stella Jane Marwitz Booker. He was a graduate of Rockdale High School Class of 1981. Mr. Booker worked in the construction trades.

Mr. Betchan Thomas “Wayne” Betchan, 92, of Rockdale went home to Heaven on Aug. 26, 2026, surrounded by his beloved wife, two daughters and a son-in-law. Wayne was born on Jan. 5, 1934, in Milano to Thomas “Tom” Jefferson Betchan and Ruby Ray (Bankston) Betchan.
