Mr. Smith Leroy Smith, 88, passed away peacefully the morning of Feb. 5, 2026, surrounded by h i s lov i ng family, and went home to be with the Lord. Fu n e r a l services were he ld a t 1 1 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Tanglewood Baptist Church, with Pastor Doug Brinson officiating.

Mrs. Bishop Gloria Darby Bishop, 72, passed away peacefully on Jan. 28, 2026. Gloria was born Oct. 21, 1953, to the late Lee Roy Darby and Anni e Pekar Darby. She was a devoted mothe r, grandmother and sister whose love for her family defined her life.

Mrs. Fatheree Freda Fatheree, 91, passed away peacefully at her home on Jan. 29, 2026. Services were Wednesday, Feb. 4, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. La Freda Bess Rice was born Aug.

Due to inclement weather, the celebration of the life of Rev. Dr. E. David Henry, originally scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, 2026, has been rescheduled. The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls, 1803 Hwy.

Mr. Lantz Glade H. Lantz, 96, of Rockdale died Friday, Jan. 23, 2026. Se r v ices will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at First Presbyterian Church in Rockdale. Mr. Lantz was born on Dec. 29, 1929, in Franklin, Pennsylvania to Floyd Herman Lantz and Christena Elizabeth McDowell Lantz.

Mr. Mauldin Thomas Carl Mauldin, 81, passed away at his home in Tomball on Dec. 15, 2025.

Rogers

Mrs. Rogers Wendy Richelle Prazak Rogers, 41, of Brenham completed her ear thly journey on Jan. 6, 2026, leaving behind family and friends who loved her deeply. Wendy was born on Sept. 6, 1984, to Mark Allen Prazak of Rockdale and Kimberly Denise Harris of Milano.

Mr. Beard A celebration of Brian Beard’s life will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Kay Theater in Rockdale, followed by a meal and a toast with family and friends nex t door at the East Bell Taphouse. Brian Beard, 51, died suddenly on Jan.

Mr. Dunn

Dunn Danny Dunn passed peacefully on Jan. 10, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his family who loved him dearly. The youngest of six children, Danny was born at h ome o n a farm in Fannin County on Oct. 22, 1943, to Henry and Iva Dunn.
