Mr. Pimpler Carroll Lee Pimpler, 87, passed away peacefully early on Dec. 25, 2025, in Round Rock, surrounded by his three children and his eldest grandson. He was born March 14, 1938, in Yarrelton, the son of Erwin and Emelia Pimpler. He was raised in Sharp and Rockdale.

Mrs. Lerma Adelia Lerma passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2025. Adelia, affectionately known as Aunt D e e , was born on July 10, 1945. She was one of 12 children born to Feliciano and Manuela Zapata in Rockdale. Dee was married to Edward Lerma Jr.

Dolores Faye Barber (Kindred), age 87, of Rockdale passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025. Dolores, also known as Dodie, Doe-Doe and Ninnie, was born on Dec. 26, 1937, in Reagan (Falls County) to Willliam Eddie and Florene Pringle Kindred.

Mrs. Green Novalene (Caffey) Green, age 99, of Temple passed away on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025, in Scott & White Hospital ICU. She was born at home on Dec. 7, 1926, in the little community of Tracy in Milam County. She was the f irst born of Lenza Eugene Caffey and Virginia Ruth (Duncan) Caffey.
