Stephenson Phillip Stephenson, 69, of Rockdale passed away on June 13, 2026. Born on Oct. 24, 1956, in La Marque, Phillip was the son of William and Eula Stephenson. He lived a life marked by hard work, kindness and a genuine love for people.

Manuela “Mamie” Guzman, 84, of Rockdale was called home by Our Lord on June 12, 2026. Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 18, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. A Rosary will be recited from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Massengale Diana Brewer Massengale, known lovingly by her grandchildren as “Ahma,” left this earth to her home in the Lord’s Kingdom on June 4, 2026, at her home in Lexington. She was 80 years young.

Dannie W. Robbins Jr., af fectionately known as Mr. Robbins “Butch” to many, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on July 11, 1960, in Rockdale, Dannie spent most of his adult life living and working in Rockdale.

Milton Ray “Pete” Taylor, 89, of Rockdale passed away on June 7, 2026, at home. He was born June 18, 1936, in the Pleasant Grove community of Lee County. Mr. Taylor Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 11, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Mr. Willrich Robert Lee Willrich Sr. was born on Feb. 28, 1939, in Lexington to Florida Mae Milligan and Eddie Willrich Sr. He attended school in the Lexington and Doak Springs communities and graduated from Giddings Colored High School in 1957, where he excelled in football and basketball.

Mrs. Lopez Margaret Ann Lopez (Tamez) passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026. Margaret was born o n Ma r c h 14, 1945, in Cameron, t o Ys idoro Tamez II and Maria Garcia Tamez. She was the sixth of 10 children.

Mrs. Nolen Miriam Nolen, 93, of Rockdale passed away on March 31, 2026, in Round Rock. Miriam was born on June 10, 1932, in Appleby to Ira and Essie Riddle.

Grametbauer Jame s “Jim” L ewi s Grametbauer, beloved husband, dad and grandad, passed away on May 23, 2026, following a brief illness. He was 82 years old. Jim, t he son of Rudolph “Rudie” John Grametbauer and Ruby Lee Gerland Grametbauer, was born in Temple on Dec. 1, 1943.
