Mr. Johnson Paul Vann Johnson of Rockdale passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 66. Born to Will iam J. and Ruth Johnson of Rockdale, Paul was well known for his love of cooking and especially remembered for his famous peanut brittle.

Todd Alan Scott, passed away June 9, 2026, at Scott & White Hospital from heart failure. He was born Jan. 29, 1967, in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

Alfred E. Owens, 93, of Weir passed away Sunday evening, June 14, 2026, at his home. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 18, at Milano Cemetery in Milam County, with Rev. Alex Berrios officiating. The family will receive visitors beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday at the cemetery.
