San Juanita “Janie” Zamora

San Juanita “Janie” Zamora was the fourth of 11 children born to Amador Zamora and Alejandra (Ugalde) Zamora. Juanita was born Feb. 15, 1952, in Rockdale. She was a client at Milam Adult Resource Center (MARC) for almost 50 years.

Mrs. Caywood Teresa Caywood passed away peacefully in her home on May 9, 2025. Services ares cheduled for Frid ay, May 16, at Phillips & Lucke y Funeral Home in Rockdale. A vi sitation is scheduled from 10 to 11 a.m. A graveside service will follow at Minerva Cemetery with Mike Zapata officiating.

Mr. Gilbert Albert O’Neal Gilbert, 86, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 10, 2025, in Round Rock. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Phi llips & Lucke y F u ne r al Home in Rockdale. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 16, at the funeral home.

Maddox

BRENHAM—Teresa Gail (Fults) Maddox was born to Harmon Fults and Julia Ann (McDaniels) Fults in Livingston on Oct. 25, 1957. She went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at her home with her family by her side at the age of 67 years old. Teresa graduated from Livingston High School.

Mr. Mills Jimmy Dale Mills, 69, of Milano passed peacefully from this world on Friday, April 25, 2025. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31, at Liberty Community Church. Jimmy was born April 9, 1956, to Irene Frith and Odie Mills.

Barbara Ann Rawlins, 83, was born in Elgin on Oct. 3, 1941, and passed away on May 8, 2025. Services were held Wednes day, May 14, at Lexington Fa ith Temple Churchin Lexington with Pastor Jim Moore officiating. Burial fol lowed at Lawrence Mrs. Rawlins Chapel Cemetery in Thrall.

Mr. Billig Robert Lee Billig, 74, passed away Feb. 1, 2025, at home in Spokane, Washington. Born on Feb. 4, 1950, Robert dedicated much of his life to his community and his country. Rober t graduated from Sealy High School and soon after enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving from 1968 to 1970.

Mr. Cernuch Michael Keith Cernuch, 68 of Gause, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, of complications from a horse riding accident. Mike was born Dec. 28, 1956, in Houston to Shirley Wood and Charley C. “Chuck” Cernuch Jr.

Jones

Mr. Jones Arvin John Jones was born Dec. 3, 1958, in Frankfurt Germany, to Reval Viola (RV) Jones and Charlotte Brossman Jones. He passed from this life on April 10, 2025. He graduated from Milano High School in 1977 after moving there from Livingston in 1972.
