Mrs. Brogger TAYLOR—Ima Lazelle We s tmor eland Wuthrich Brogger passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023, at the age of 95. Funeral services were he ld at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor. Burial followed at the Taylor City Cemetery.

Joe William Criner

Joe William Criner, 65, of Lyons passed away at his home on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023. Joe was born in Houston on Oct. 28, 1958, and was raised in Milano. He was the son of Evelyn Loui se Cotten Criner Smith and Roy Howard Criner. Joe was the fourth child of six and the youngest son.

McCarty

With great sorrow, we announce the loss of Jason Lee McCarty, age 46, of New Braunfels on T hu r s d a y, Oct. 26, 2023. Jason passed away from the effects of systemic scleroderma which he had bravely fought for the past two years.

Fred G. Marquez Sr., 76, of Rockdale was born March 14, 1947, and on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023, All Souls Day, he lef t this earth for his forever home in heaven. Visitation wi th rosary was held Monday, Nov. 6, at Phillip & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Lovett

Dr. David Franklin Lovett, 75, of Lubbock passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2023. David was born on June 2, 1948, in Olney to Dr. Raymond and Hazel Lovett. He grew up in Olney and graduated from Olney High School in 1966.

Davenport

Doug Davenport was born June 28, 1955, to Less and Juanita Davenport. He went to school at Lexington, where he played drums in the band and was on the football team. He was also a drummer in the Blinn College band.
