Billie Jean Kornegay

Billie Jean Kornegay, 90, of Fort Worth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 7, 2023. She was born to Miles Edward “Ed” McCoy and Opal Beatrice Hillen McCoy on Nov. 20, 1932, in Rockdale. She graduated f rom Rockdale High School in 1949 and attended Southwest Texas State at San Marcos.

Shelton

Jerry Lee William Shelton Sr. was born on Christmas day in 1949 at his Grandmother’s home in Lexington. He was raised by his grandmother, Toni Shelton, and his father, Lee Roy. Jerry departed this world on June 5, 2023, at the age of 73 at his daughter’s home in Tanglewood.

Mr. Hall

Hall GRAHAM—Charlie Hall, 90, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2023, in Houston. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 17, at 2 p.m. at Oasis of Grace Church, 622 Cherry St., in Graham. Charlie was born on Sept. 9, 1932, in Mexia and was one of five children born to Mary Hall.

Mr. Headrick Billy Howard Headrick left his earthly home for his forever home in Heaven on June 6, 2023, at the age of 87. Billy was born in Georgetown on May 18, 1936, to Roy L . a n d Edna Headrick. He attended school in Georgetown, graduating from Georgetown High School in 1955.

Dennis Ray Willard, 74, of Rockdale died Friday, June 2, 2023, at CHI St. Joseph Hospital in Caldwell. No services are scheduled at this time. Mr. Willard was born Dec. 9, 1948, to the late Clarence and Angie Lou Hamby Willard.
