Donny “Deek” White, 64, of Belmena died Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, at his home. Memorial services were held Saturday, Feb. 27, at Milam County Cowboy Church near Rockdale. Private family burial will be at a later date. Mr. White, a retired electrician, was born to B.D. and Billie Jo (Massengale) White.

Wilson

Justin Clyde Wilson, 34, of Rockdale died Monday, March 1, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Round Rock. Private family services will be held at a later date. Mr. Wilson was born March 20, 1986, in Galveston to Terry Clyde and Laura (Blackmon) Wilson.

Wise

CAMERON—Joan Wise, 80, of Cameron died unexpectedly at her home on Feb. 22, 2021. Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021, at the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Cameron, with Rev. Stephen Kelley and Rev. Bill Harris officiating.

Yount

Bobby Yount, 86, of Austin died Friday, Feb. 19, after an extended illness. There was no service and burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Rockdale. Mr. Yount was born Nov. 14, 1934, in Watson Branch Community to Babe and Isie Yount. Both parents preceded him in death.

Finis Edward Black

Finis Edward Black, 95, of Rockdale died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Services were Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Matt Higginbotham officiating. Burial was at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Linda Ruth Jones

A funeral service for Linda Ruth Jones, 65, of Rockdale will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Matt Higgin-botham officiating. Burial will be at Gause Cemetery in Gause.

Martha Newman

Martha Newman, 97, of Milano died Monday, Feb. 15, 2021, at her home in Milano. Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Roy Dillard officiating. Burial was at Milano Cemetery in Milano.

Ruth Lee Price Rosenthal

Ruth Lee Price Rosenthal, 97, of Thorndale died peacefully in her home on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale.

Cecelia Smith

Cecelia Smith, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 18, 2021, at her home in Black Jack. She was born in Hempstead on Oct. 29, 1939, to Theodore and Nancy Jozwiak.
