Funeral services for Henry Fuessel Jr., 70, of Thorndale, were held Monday, Nov. 15, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Scott Schaller of Trinity Lutheran Church in Taylor officiating. Burial followed at Detmold Cemetery near Thorndale.
CROCKETT—Mattie Diane Jenkins, 77, of Crockett died Monday, Nov. 8, 2021, at Whitehall Nursing Center in Crockett.
“She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family. She sets about her work vigorously; her arms are strong for her tasks. She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy. She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household. Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
Funeral services for Alta Raye Caffey, 96, of Rockdale were held Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Kevin Caffey and Pastor Matt Higginbotham officiating. Interment followed at Salty Cemetery.
Joyce Roberts, 82, of Rockdale died Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at Canyon Creek Memory Care in Temple.
