Woodward

Francesca (Fran) Trevisan Woodward of Cedar Park (and formerly of Rockdale) passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021. A memorial service will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Rockdale at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 10. On Feb. 25th, 1939, Fran was born in Mexico City.

Peggy Joyce Edmondson

A funeral service for Peggy Joyce Edmondson will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Bro. Harvey Abke of BCCC officiating. Burial will be at Locklin Cemetery in San Gabriel. Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Lana Gail McCoy

Lana Gail McCoy, 67, of Thrall passed away surrounded by her loving family, Tuesday, June 22, 2021. The family will be having a memorial service at their home on CR 436, Thrall, at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 10.

Reyes

Joe went home to be with Jesus on June 18, 2021, at the age of 36. Joe was born on Oct. 3, 1984, to Helen Reyes and Joe Reyes Sr. in Rockdale. After his graduation from high school in 2003, he went on to study and pitch for the baseball team at Abilene Christian University.

A funeral service for Adrian “Big A” Donnel Morrison, 36, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Royal Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale.

Glenn

Mary Ann Glenn, 77, of Rockdale died Monday, May 31, 2021, at her home in Rockdale. Following her wishes, no services are planned. Mrs. Glenn was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Houston to Pete Paul and Carrie Mary (Przyvorskie) Pawlak. She had lived in Rockdale since 1967 and had worked in the medical lab.

Kocian

Gloria Carolyn Kocian, 77, of Rockdale died Saturday, June 5, 2021, surrounded by her family. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Stark

James Randall Stark, 66, of Rockdale died Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his residence. No services are planned. Mr. Stark was born Aug. 29, 1954, in Austin to Luther Ray and Ruby (Johnson) Stark. He was a plumber in the construction business. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.

THORNDALE—Melva Ruth (Woelfel) Richter went to her heavenly home on Friday, June 4, 2021, at the age of 83. M e l - va was born on March 7, 1938, to Martin and Adele ( L e h m a n ) Woelfel and grew up in Thorndale.

Hirt

TAYLOR—James Melvin Hirt passed from this earthly life, May 28, 2021, at the age of 91 years, 9 months, 13 days. Melvin was born to parents, Elsie and Emil Hirt at Gay Hill on Aug. 15, 1929.
