Carolyn Jean Mullinax Carroll of Milano went to be with the Lord on Aug. 1, 2021. She was born Sept. 13, 1946, to Jewell and Odell Mullinax in Cameron. She accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age and was baptized at Batte Town Baptist Church.

Carl Vernon Marrs

Carl Vernon Marrs, 90, of Rockdale departed this life peacefully on Monday, July 12, 2021, at home surrounded by family. He was born in Cairo, Illinois, on Aug. 8, 1930, to the late John Franklin Marrs and Hattie Marie (Frank) Marrs. He was the youngest of 10 children.

Charlesetta Mayberry was born in Cameron on July 15, 1951 to Vernell Wilcox and Jimmie Norwood. Charlesetta attended Aycock Public School until 1968 and in 1969 the schools were integrated and she went to Rockdale High School where she graduated in 1970.
