Mary Ann Glenn, 77, of Rockdale died Monday, May 31, 2021, at her home in Rockdale. Following her wishes, no services are planned. Mrs. Glenn was born Jan. 16, 1944, in Houston to Pete Paul and Carrie Mary (Przyvorskie) Pawlak. She had lived in Rockdale since 1967 and had worked in the medical lab.

Gloria Carolyn Kocian, 77, of Rockdale died Saturday, June 5, 2021, surrounded by her family. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6 to 7 p.m.

James Randall Stark, 66, of Rockdale died Sunday, June 6, 2021, at his residence. No services are planned. Mr. Stark was born Aug. 29, 1954, in Austin to Luther Ray and Ruby (Johnson) Stark. He was a plumber in the construction business. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.

THORNDALE—Melva Ruth (Woelfel) Richter went to her heavenly home on Friday, June 4, 2021, at the age of 83. M e l - va was born on March 7, 1938, to Martin and Adele ( L e h m a n ) Woelfel and grew up in Thorndale. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church and attended St.

TAYLOR—James Melvin Hirt passed from this earthly life, May 28, 2021, at the age of 91 years, 9 months, 13 days. Melvin was born to parents, Elsie and Emil Hirt at Gay Hill on Aug. 15, 1929.

Janak

Eveyln D. Janak, 88, of Rockdale died Friday, May 28, 2021. Rosary was recited Tuesday, June 1, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. Mass was held Wednesday, June 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale with Father Pedro Castillo and Bishop Gary Janak officiating.

Perry

Bobby Lee Perry, 64, was taken to his Heavenly home following a lengthy illness on May 5, 2021, from his earthly home in Rockdale, where he lived for four years. In accordance with his request, he was cremated.

Phillips

Joyce Clarice Simmons Phillips, 89, went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 26, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan after a brief illness. She and her twin sister, Joy, were born on April 21, 1932, in Tipton, Oklahoma. They grew up in Orange, where they graduated from Lutcher Stark High School.

Davis

POTTSBORO—Charles “Chuck” Lester Davis, 78, of Pottsboro, passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, May 20, 2021, with his loving wife Nelda by his side. Chuck was born Jan. 29, 1943, in Austin, to R.T. and Josie (Windom) Davis.

Sandoval

Alexandria “Alex” Sandoval passed away May 17, 2021, at her home with both her parents holding her. In January, she had been diagnosed with DIPG brain cancer. Despite how difficult it was, Alex fought hard until the very end.
