Denice Elizabeth Doss, 65, of Rockdale, went to be with the Lord on Sept. 1, 2020. Denice was born to Mary and Richard Hertless in Fort Brag g, North Carolina, on Oct. 26, 1954. Growing up in an Air Force family she lived in many places but found a home she loved in Rockdale.

Bauer

Aliene M. Bauer, 91 of Waco, formerly of Rockdale, died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2020, at St. Catherine’s in Waco. A graveside service was held Monday, Aug. 31, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Ms. Bauer was born March 25, 1929, in Rockdale to Fritz A. and Dorothy E. (Taylor) Bauer.

Currey

Milton R. “Jim” Currey, 97, a long-time Rockdale business owner, passed away early Thursday morning, Aug. 27, 2020, at his home in Rockdale, surrounded by his family. Jim was born Feb. 26, 1923, in Rockdale to Peter Oliver and Ruby E. (Kelly) Currey.

Legg

James Daniel “Jim” Legg Sr., 77, of Rockdale, passed away Aug. 27, 2020. J i m w a s born in Nov. 27, 1942, to Dan V. and Mary Ann Legg in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated from Rockdale High School in 1961. He went off to join the United States Air Force and was a Police Airman in the K-9 Unit.

McIrvin

Elmer Archie McIrvin, 82, of Rockdale died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2020, at the VA Hospital in Temple. There will be a private family service. Mr. McIrvin was born Feb. 16, 1938, to Orlie and Goldie (Eagleburger) McIrvin in Wray, Colorado. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving for 17 years.
