Cash

Gladys Mae (Shelander) Cash died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. A graveside service was held Tuesday, Nov. 3, at Westlawn Cemetery in Del Rio. Mrs. Cash was born Aug. 3, 1926, in Milam County, the second of five children to J.J. and Addie Shelander.

Williams

Bruce Edward Williams of Sugar Land died recent ly at the age of 63. In view of concerns with COVID-19, a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Williams was born Feb. 15, 1957, to John and Mildred Williams.

Luckey

James E. “Gene” Luckey, age 95, of Sharp passed away Friday morning, Oct. 23, 2020, at his home in Sharp. Gene was born Sept .19,1925, in Rockdale to Rufus Ervin and Wilma Odell (Dickey) Luckey. He attended mostly country schools in Rockdale and Houston.

McCoy

On Oct. 24, 2020, Helen Joyce (Stolte) McCoy, loving sister and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away at the age of 80. Services will be held o n F r i d a y, Oct. 30, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home at 10 a.m.

Norwood

Kay (Nana, Granny) Norwood of Beaukiss, formerly from Rockdale, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020. She was born on Nov. 18, 1936, in Waco to Howard and Lillian Salter. She was a graduate of Lorena High School. Graveside services are set for 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale.

Ormsby

Catherine (Cathy) Ann Ormsby, 70, of Rockdale passed away peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, after a hard-fought journey with cancer. Services were held Tuesday, Oct. 27, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with Father Pedro Castillo officiating.

Rhines

Michael “Glenn” Rhines, 70, died suddenly and unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, shortly after falling asleep. F u n e r a l service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home with Michael Taber officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Salty Cemetery.

Talley

Euteva Talley, 89, of Rockdale was embraced in God’s loving arms on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020. Euteva had a gentle, sweet and gracious soul. She was the kind of woman to not hesitate to help anyone in need. She would straighten you out, if she thought you needed it.
