THORNDALE HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL

BOSQUEVILLE—The Thorndale Bulldogs traveled to Bosqueville last week to participate in the Texas 2A Showdown. The tournament brought together 12 of the most accomplished 2A programs in the state. The Bulldogs finished the tourney with a 2-1 record before rain washed out the Saturday schedule.

Lexima: well deserved ‘Coach of the Year’

The 2025-26 basketball is over and, while the Tigers fell to Fairfield, the Tiger basketball program has made a big statement.

ROCKDALE HIGH SCHOOL GOLF

The Rockdale Tiger golf teams participated in a twoday tournament in Brenham last week. They were up against some great Class 5A and 6A competition. Both boys and girls teams competed well against the bigger schools. Zeb Skrhak and Mason Lillard tied for ninth in the boys division.

MILANO BASKETBALL

The Milano Lady Eagles basketball team had five players named to the All-District squad. Marissa Balderas was named to the All-District Second-Team and also to the Academic All-District Team. Named All-District honorable mention were Sophie Zeig and Jesalyn Miller.

THORNDALE HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

The Thorndale Bulldogs baseball team went 4-1 last week with a victory over Milano on Tuesday and a tournament championship over the weekend. MILANO— The Bulldogs traveled to Milano last Tuesday and defeated the Eagles, 28-0. They pounded out 21 hits on the night.

LA GRANGE— The Rockdale Tigers baseball team (7-1-1) welcomed the La Grange Leopards to town last Tuesday. The Tigers only needed two hits to win the game in walk-off fashion in t he bottom of seventh.
