Former Thrall athlete and member of the Thrall High School class of 2024 Avery Koonce was found dead in her dorm at the U.S. Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Rockdale’s long distance runners competed at Lexington last week.
The Rockdale Lady Tigers opened district play last Friday and lost to a good Lexington squad. The Lady Tigers lost in three sets, 15-25, 15-25 and 13-25.
The Rockdale Tiger JV is 2-0 after beating Hempstead here at home last week 21-0.
THIS WEEK— The Tigers will now play on the road against Lexington at 6 p.m. Thursday.
