Somerville 49, Milano 6 SOMERVILLE—The Milano Eagles (2-8, 2-5) ended their season on the gridiron Friday night with a 49-6 loss to the Somerville Yeguas (6-4, 4-3) at Yeguas Field.

BOYS STATE MEET— The Rockdale Tigers had two runners— Jon Fuller (L) and Austin Caldwell (R)—compete at the 2025 UIL State Cross Country Meet in Round Rock on Friday. Fuller placed 20th in state, while Caldwell placed 48th out of 152 runners.

CAMERON—The Rockdale Tigers traveled across the river to take on the arch rival Cameron Yoemen in the annual Battle of Bell on Friday night. They returned home without the Bell, losing to the Yoe 55-28.
